Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Finance Manager. You will be responsible for running the finance department to ensure the business is operating smoothly and efficiently maintaining great communication with other departments, while improving company procedures and day-to-day operations.

We are looking for somebody who can grow besides the business, who has a passion to help others while working in a high paced and dynamic environment. Someone who is driven, continually looking to improve and is not afraid to challenge the norms and ask why we do things and how we can do things better.

This position is available immediately.

Job Purpose

  • Creating monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS and associated reports
  • General ledger account reconciliation
  • End of month accounting entries (accruals, prepaid expenses)
  • Management of the inventory and its related implications
  • Monitoring/supporting invoicing and dunning and aged debtor management and account reconciliation
  • Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial systems and supporting future system developments.
  • Managing further development of SAP and other IT systems
  • Annual budget and budget review preparation
  • Controlling
  • Cash flow planning
  • Releasing payment runs
  • Contact person for bank, auditors and tax advisors
  • VAT and statistical reports

This person will also manage – ad interim –

  • Monthly payroll preparation, onboarding new staff, holiday and time clock administration
  • Monthly payroll journal entry
  • Data security advisor

Person Specification:

We are looking for an applicant who is energised, trustworthy, and hard-working, with excellent communication and team working skills. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude with a courteous and helpful approach. Overall, we are looking for someone who has/is:

  • Pro-active, problem-solver, highly organised, flexible, and personable
  • Accuracy and great attention to details is essential
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise workload and respect deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook), databases and internet usage

HR Payroll Specialist

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an energetic team in the La Marzocco German branch office.

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with excellent organizational skills, time-planning and attention to detail to directly contribute to a fantastic employee experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Gather information on hours worked for each employee (including overtime, holidays, sick leaves,…)
  • Responsible for timely collating of payroll relevant data and transmitting all payroll input to our external payroll vendors
  • Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll records
  • Entering data into the HR software and maintaining these data always up-to-date
  • Managing employee benefits (such as gym membership, fuel voucher, grocery voucher, etc.)
  • Update and maintain reports related to HR data (headcount, personnel cost, bonus, new hires, termination)
  • Posting monthly payroll journal in SAP
  • Preparation of monthly payroll accruals (vacation, bonus)
  • Prepare and execute pay orders to distribute paychecks
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
  • Managing travel expenses reports with a software tool
  • Handling the employee’s credit card reports
  • Support the HR Headquarter Office in the management of the employment contracts
  • Support the HR HQ Office in developing HR guidelines
  • Support the HR HQ Office with onboarding of new employees
  • Collaborate with the HR HQ Office in analyzing the recruitment needs

Service Technician / Servicetechniker

Your tasks:

  • You are the contact person for our customers and help with service issues.
  • You will carry out installations independently and show customers and partner companies the first steps on their machines.
  • You look after warranty cases, including coordination and communication of service calls.
  • You are part of a new service center where you will manage: customer service, invoicing & accounting, coordination of machine deliveries, spare parts stock, maintenance, and repairs.
  • You will take on further installations, repairs, and technical service on home and commercial machines as required.
  • You are also our internal contact person for technical questions relating to our product range

Your qualification:

  • You have electrical engineering qualifications, e.g. qualified electrician (efk), qualified electrician for specified tasks (efkfft) or another electrical engineering qualification.
  • Alternatively, you have completed training in a technical field so that you can quickly obtain the necessary certifications.
  • Class B driving licence
  • IT skills (expertise in working with Teams, Excel and experience in working with CRM software is a plus)
  • You are strong in multitasking and solution-oriented
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of coffee is an advantage
